About QueryCrunch

QueryCrunch is a US-based consultancy focused entirely on the Elastic Stack and OpenSearch: Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats and Elastic Agent, and the OpenSearch fork of all of it.

That narrowness is the point. Search and observability clusters sit in the critical path of the products and teams that depend on them, and the difference between a cluster that hums and one that burns money is a few hundred specific decisions — shard math, mapping design, lifecycle policies, query construction, collector topology. A generalist shop meets those decisions occasionally; we make them every working day.

What we believe about this work

• The bill is a symptom. Runaway observability spend and slow search almost always trace to the same root causes: data kept on the wrong storage, indexed fields nobody queries, shards sized by habit. Fix the engineering and the bill follows.
• Both use cases, one practice. Most consultancies do search or observability. The same cluster often serves both, the skills compound, and the fixes interact — so we deliberately practice both.
• Neutrality is worth protecting. Elastic and OpenSearch each fit real situations. Because we resell neither, we can tell you which — including when the right answer is the one that pays us fewer hours.

How we engage

Everything is hourly time and materials, delivered by senior US engineers as project engagements or staff augmentation — the model is described plainly on the approach page. We publish what we know in Tutorials, because the write-ups that help you evaluate us are the same ones that help you run your cluster.
